UK Bus Awards Seminar Achieving Excellence in the Bus Industry
Date Of Conference: 9/28/2005
The UK Bus Awards, formerly the Bus Industry Awards, provides an important opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate some of the excellent work that is going into delivering attractive bus services by bus operators, local authorities, industry suppliers and others. Now in its tenth year and with a great new name, the bus 'Oscars' is firmly established as a key event in the industry calendar, placing a spotlight on best practice in areas like marketing, customer service, innovation and infrastructure, as well as the award of the prestigious Bus Operator of the Year prize. The 2005 UK Bus Awards Achieving Excellence Seminar will offer industry professionals the opportunity to hear more from those who are leading the way in the UK bus industry. It will also hear the announcement of the shortlist for the 2005 UK Bus Awards.
This seminar will look in depth at the challenges and opportunities which face those who seek to provide high quality services that appeal to the traveling public, and even persuade them to leave their car at home. Some of the industry's most respected operators will address issues like having the courage to make the right decisions, the importance of strong partnerships and what local authorities can do to help buses thrive. This will be supported by case studies of how excellence has been achieved across the many aspects of the industry. If you too are continually seeking opportunities and ideas to improve bus service and bus businesses, this is your opportunity to hear from and meet people that have already done so, icluding past award winners. The ‘Achieving Excellence’ seminar is an excellent networking occasion for you to pick up, discuss and share new ideas.
